Tempest From Staron

Staron® Surfaces' division of worldwide technology leader Samsung, introduced Tempest product line by adding 10 new colors, bringing the entire Tempest palate to 40 color options. The new color series, branded Tempest Stylist, exudes rich, natural color tones. The series provides an upscale, designer-grade product to professionals and homeowners who are seeking a unique surface for any residential or commercial project. Tempest is a unique and versatile surfacing product. There's a new visual dimension with Tempest that is like nothing else we've offered. While it has the look of natural quartz, it still offers the practicality of solid surface, making it ideal for any residential or commercial application.

The Visual Difference - It's in the Depth

Inspiration for Tempest stemmed from the need for a surfacing option that provides the aesthetic of natural quartz and stone with the properties of solid surface. The result is a new generation of surfacing product that offers a unique visual depth through larger, translucent particulate randomly dispersed throughout the matrix.

Practical Beauty -Offering What Stone Can't

Despite its quartz-like appearance, Tempest allows benefits that stone surfaces don't, including its seamless appearance and nonporous, hygienic properties. Additionally, Tempest surfaces can be fabricated in to configurations nearly impossible with stone, including fully coved backsplashes and seamless integration with Staron sinks and bowls. Insets and patterns can also be incorporated into the surface for added aesthetic appeal and maximum customization.

The new Tempest colors also are certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute, a certification that recently was granted to Staron for its full range of Solid Surface materials, including the Staron Tempest line and Staron all-acrylic sinks and bowls. Each of the product lines passed the requirements of two GREENGUARD certification programs. GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified® product certification is granted for low-emitting interior building materials, furnishings and finish systems. The more stringent GREENGUARD for Children & SchoolsSM certification is granted for low-emitting interior building materials, furnishings and finish systems used in educational (daycare and K-12) environments.
